Tzarevo (Carevo) Property

The town of Tzarevo or (Carevo) as it is sometimes called is located on the southern Black Sea in Bulgaria, about 75km south of Bourgas and Sozopol which is some 25km to the north of the town. Tzarevo is a picturesque coastal town and fishing port with typical Bulgarian bars and restaurants, Tzarevo is backed by the foothills of the Strandga mountain which is sloping towards the sea. Tzarevo has beautiful beach areas which start from midway along the bay and stretches round to the end of the peninsula. Across the bay from Tzarevo lies the fishing harbour of Vassilico, which also has a pretty beach area and many sandy and rocky coves. The whole area is ideal for sun worshippers, especially those who prefer privacy and relaxation a lot quieter than the hustle and bustle of the resorts further north like Sunny Beach and Nessebur, as there are many kilometres of beach which remain relatively unused all year round.

The boom in the overseas property investment market and Bulgarian property in particular hasn't really hit Tsarevo, however lying a short walk from Tzarevo centre through the beach area and forest is one of the areas up and coming new beach resorts of Crystal Cove a resort which typifies the Tzarevo area, of secluded peace and tranquillity. Also one of Eastern Europe's largest and most exciting projects has now also commenced in the Tzarevo area. Costa del Croco resort is set to become a huge success not only in Tzarevo area, but the Bulgarian Black sea coast in general.

If you wanted to take a day away from the beaches in the summer try the cooler air up in 'Stradzha' Mountain (being the largest mountain in Bulgaria) The mountain was declared a natural park in 1995 and is one of the least explored in Bulgaria, which explains the richness of its wildlife. The mountain also has a lot of caves (particularly in its western part), where traces of ancient civilisations can be found.
